Team Thomas!

Team Thomas Final 2017.jpg

I had the honor of capturing this beautiful family, who have a special place in my heart. Great friends, though we may not see each other often due to the business of life, when we get to catch up, it's as if we just recently spoke.

We met up at Edgewater to capture the great backdrop of our city #CLE. This gorgeous unit was so fun to follow and I even got some assistance from a little princess, who had a few ideas for some poses herself... with her little brother.

These kids are amazing! They are smart, bright, full of life and love! Their parents are raising them to be upstanding, intelligent, and God fearing... Oh I can't wait to see the places they will go.

I enjoyed spending some much needed time with the Thomas family and getting some great shots. Looking forward to capturing more memories with them soon. Here are my favorite moments with Team Thomas. <3

Cruz girls, surrounded by Gold!

Capturing these three is one of my favorite things to do. I never know what to expect when looking from behind my 50mm lens.

Cruz Gals Photos 2017-1.jpg

My sister is a great mother to her two beautiful girls. They always keep me laughing, and she works very hard, (third shift to be exact), just to be around for her daughters, and never misses a school event. She loves to mess with the girls and often plays many tricks on them, (which I know they will have their revenge someday, lol), but when I get the opportunity to capture these gals behind the camera, all I see is love!

There is nothing like the unconditional love of a mother.

"The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness". -Honore de Balzac

This past summer I had lots of fun spending time with the Cruz Girls at Maria's Field of Hope in Avon, showing them the field of gold and all that it represents. We enjoyed it so much, that I hope we get to make it a yearly tradition and visit the sunflower field often, creating and capturing beautiful moments.

Here are some of my favorites from this session! Enjoy!

With Love,
Amanda

Generations of Love!

Debbie Diaz Photos 1.jpg

Josiah is a blessed little boy! Before his grandmother moved to Florida to be with the rest of the family, I had the honor to capture three generations of Love!

Great-Grandma, Grandma, and Josiah visited Maria's Field of Hope, where I was privileged to capture some special moments between these three, memories they will always cherish!

Thank you, Debbie, for entrusting me with such a special task! I love to capture these moments, you can feel so much love from just looking at the photos.

Yours truly,
Amanda

Happy Birthday My Love!

DSC05078.JPG

Today I dedicate this blog post to my dearest love. Thankful that God created someone just for me. He is an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He works hard and provides and supports us daily... he even makes us dinner! #KyleFoodieLife

When I asked God for a husband and described his looks and personality (without even knowing him), I never imagined he would give me the desires of my heart.

Now, 8 blissful years of marriage later, I get to walk alongside the one my heart loves, with our two little guys, were raising together. Never imagined to have 3 amazing boys in my life, and I am so thankful and extremely blessed!

Maria's Field of Hope!

Sunflowers at Maria's Field of Hope!

Sunflowers at Maria's Field of Hope!

At the close of Summer 2017, I had the opportunity to capture some beautiful family photos at the Prayers from Maria Sunflower Field, in Avon, OH. This beautiful field is home to thousands of pretty sunflowers, representing the little Angels impacted by children's glioma, and is founded by the Maria Children's Glioma Cancer Foundation.

This beautiful field honors the memory of many children and family impacted by childhood cancer like our own family was impacted when our little cousin Ty, passed away in 2008, at just 7 years old. I didn't get the privilege of meeting this precious little guy, but I think of him when I see the family photos, and every time I visit this field of gold.

I plan to visit Maria's Field of Hope annually, to not only support children's glioma research, but to continue capturing lasting memories for families.

Here are some of my favorite shots of that day... Mr. Bradley Cooper, the famous Goldendoodle of Instagram, Siah with his grandma and great-grandma, the De Los Santos Family, the Cruz girls, and the Santiago family with their new bundle of joy!

Looking forward to September 2018 when the sunflowers bloom again.

Thanks,
Amanda

Baby Kayden Geovanny

Welcome to the world Baby Geo! We are lucky to have you! Your parents are so blessed to raise you and your family is fortunate to have a third generation Santiago male.

I've been lucky enough to capture Baby Geo's birth, and now his newborn photos, which was precious. This handsome little guy slept peacefully while we wrapped him in a nice warm blanket and cute little bowties and with his stuffed animals. My favorite moments were the simple close ups of this cute little newborn and the intimate moments with his parents. What a beautiful family! Here are my favorite photos from this session.

Enjoy!

Botanical Garden Beauties!

Back in June, my wonderful husband Kyle asked how I wanted to spend my 32nd birthday... of course I chose my favorite place in Cleveland - The Botanical Garden

Every time I walk through the garden, I am lost in the beauty of all the gorgeous flowers, especially my absolute favorite, Orchids during Orchid Mania, (February thru March). I brought my camera and captured some breathtaking shots that I wanted to share.

Hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them! From Orchids to butterflies, this is a great place to enjoy some tropical scenery in "The Land".

Enjoy!
Amanda

Tito & Michelle Maternity Photos

These two soon-to-be-parents are very near and dear to my heart. I had the special privilege to capture some special moments of this couple's pregnancy. Through these photos, you can see the love they have for each other and their special, soon-to-arrive blessing, Baby Geo.

Here are some of my favorite moments from this maternity shoot...

Ursuline Alumnae Art Show Reception!

Feeling extremely thankful for the opportunity of being featured in the Ursuline College Alumnae Art Exhibit at the Wasmer Gallery, in Pepper Pike, Ohio!

IMG_7355.JPG

June 16th was the opening reception to the latest exhibit the Wasmer Gallery is displaying through July 21st, 2017. What a fitting time for Alumni Weekend, to display works from Ursuline grads, ranging from the class of '54 to recent grads ('16).

It was great to see fellow Alumnae and their work as well! I had the opportunity to see Dana and her awesome paintings, and got to enjoy Ebony's fashion threads.

Gender Reveal (Father's Day)

In honor of Fathers Day, 2017, I wanted to share some of the photos I captured for my brother Tito and his girlfriend Mishelle during their gender reveal party.

This reveal was very special, especially for our family this being our only brother. Tito loves cars so much and what better way to reveal the news of his future child then by using his Acura.

For this reveal, our father, "the grandfather" of Baby Geo, pressed on the gas to reveal the color powder that blew out of the exhaust and out came BLUE!

IMG_7464.PNG

Needless to say, the parents to be and entire family were so excited to learn that there will another boy in the family!

Happy Soon-you-be Father's Day Brother! Congrats, we can't wait to meet Baby Geo!

Excited to see blue!

Happy Father's Day to the soon to be Dad!

Congrats Noah!

Today we celebrate Noah Boyles, an amazing young man with a bright future ahead. Not only did I get to capture this handsome guy with some great senior portraits, but I got to design his graduation announcement/invitation as well!

IMG_4488.JPG

Noah has a long list of accomplishments, along with graduating from St. Ignatius High School, like participating in the Greater Cleveland Young Marines Program for 6 years, volunteering for veterans at the Louis Stokes Veterans Hospital, tutoring and mentoring fellow students, and now he will be pursuing a Homeland Security Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Florida.

Can't wait to see the places you will go Noah Boyles! So proud to call you my cousin! Best wishes and many blessings!

Baby Announcement!

New birth is such an amazing part of life! I am always amazed, especially after having my own two little ones, how one day they don't exist, then next thing you know, they are born and you can't imagine life without them.

This was the case for my dear friend, Margaret, whose first grandson was just born. This special little guy came into this word in May, and was named after his late grandfather. I had the privilege to design his announcement card, to share the news of his arrival with the world! His proud grandmother provided the sweet photo.

"Hello World", welcome little Enrique Josiah! We are so blessed to have you! Congratulations to the Cruz family. Thank you for allowing me to share your great news!

Thanks,
Amanda

FEAR

Image captured by Amanda Lott. Berea, Ohio

Image captured by Amanda Lott. Berea, Ohio

FEAR... verb: to be afraid of (someone or something) as likely to be dangerous, painful, or threatening.

Why do we fear? We fear the unknown, the what if moments, imperfection and even success. This has been the case for me for a while. I've stopped myself from working on so many creative ideas, and I am over letting fear consume me and dictate how I share my gifts and talents. I often fear that my work isn't good enough and compare to those who I think are better than me, it is paralyzing.

Scriptures tell us in Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:9

So I have decided to trust my Lord and not let the fear or failure or success take over my mind, and share the creative ideas and projects God has given me.

I've been so blessed to have a growing family and want to share some of our memories and some of the special projects I've been fortunate enough to be a part of. Look out world, Amanda Lott of Lotts of Designs is here to Design, Capture and Create!

Please browse through my portfolio and see the work that I've done. Feel free to contact me if you would like me to create something for you, your family or business.

Thanks,
Amanda Lott

Pregnancy Announcements!

When it comes to announcing the birth of our children, I just can't keep it simple. The designer and me won't let me do it any other way. The first time we were announcing that we we're expecting our first child, I had some fun. My husband being a movie buff, and myself a graphic designer I had to create something special to share our news with the world.

My vision was to create a movie poster, titled "The Soon To Be Born Identity" . This was A fun hey on one of the hubs favorite movies, and it allowed me to make it our own.

So, it was only fitting that with our second surprise announcement we continue the fun and I designed... "The Soon To Be Born Identity 2". We had so much fun creating this one, and incorporating are a little guy in a humorous way.

I hope you enjoy our announcements as much as I enjoyed creating them. What better way to share our exciting news with the world, than with these lovely posters!

Cheers to expanding to a Family of 4!
