Alumnae Art Show Feature!

I received an email from he Director of the The Wasmer Gallery at my Alma Matter, Ursuline College about featuring some of my work at the Alumnae Art Exhibit, as part of Alumnae Weekend, for classes ending in '02 and '07.

Needless to day, I was very excited to be a part of this awesome event and decided to feature two of my favorite images I have captured. These two pieces are very special to me and represent the more artistic side of my portraits. These nature shots are unedited, and captured with my Sony A58.

Proud to also have one of the photos featured on the exhibit invitational post card!

The water drop I captured, was at Coe Lake in Berea, Ohio. Though the bush is no longer there, I was able to capture this while sharing some great memories with my cousin Pebbles, during one of our summer photo trips.

The first portrait I'm featuring reminds me of the scripture in Psalms...

Psalm 42: 1-2
42 As the deer pants [longingly] for the water brooks,
So my [a]soul pants [longingly] for You, O God.
2
My soul (my life, my inner self) thirsts for God, for the living God.
When will I come and see the face of God?

The second portrait I'm featuring is of a small bettle resting on a beautiful pink flower. There is so much beauty in nature. Can't wait to go out and finding new subjects this summer.

So thankful for this opportunity. It inspired and reminded me of what I love to do... capture lasting imagery.

The show will run from Friday, June 16th through Friday, July 21st, 2017
